Construction Has Begun
All lanes of I-70 closed at Noland Road March 7 - 9, 2008
- All lanes of eastbound I-70 and the eastbound ramps at Noland road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, March 7, reopening by 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8.
- All lanes of westbound I-70 and the westbound ramps at Noland Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday, March 8, reopening by 3 p.m. Sunday, March 9.
Only eastbound I-70 traffic to Blue Ridge Cutoff, Sterling Avenue and Route 40 will be allowed beyond I-435 during eastbound closure. Only westbound traffic to Lee's Summit Road will be allowed beyond I-470/Route 291 during westbound closure.

Noland Road bridge closed to traffic February 16 through May 18, 2008.
Ramps to and from I-70 are available:
- Eastbound I-70 traffic can exit to southbound Noland Road
- Westbound I-70 traffic can exit to northbound Noland Road
- Southbound Noland Road traffic can enter westbound I-70
- Northbound Noland Road traffic can enter eastbound I-70
Noland Road Bridge Closure Information
The Noland Road bridge is closed for approximately three months, reopening no later than May 18, 2008. The entire project is expected to take six months and will cost an estimated $9.5 million.
During construction, the Noland Road ramps to and from I-70 will remain open.
This means that:
- Eastbound I-70 traffic can exit to southbound Noland Road
- Westbound I-70 traffic can exit to northbound Noland Road
- Southbound Noland Road traffic can enter westbound I-70
- Northbound Noland Road traffic can enter eastbound I-70
The nearest I-70 exits are at Lee's Summit Road and Route 40/Blue Ridge Boulevard.
